Southern Phone grant helps Toy Library

Share

Cootamundra’s Toy Library is the answer to not having rooms full of kids toys they grow out of or don’t want to play with anymore. It also allows parents to avoid the expense of keeping up with the latest trends. Recently the Toy Library committee enjoyed a $1500 spending spree at Cootamundra Toyworld. This was made possible when Greg Ewings of Cootamundra Shire Council alerted Toy Library president Tracey Moon to a grant available from Southern Phone and encouraged the Toy Library to apply. Cootamundra Toy Library is a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation.

On behalf of the committee, Tracey said she feels very fortunate to have received the grant from Southern Phone that benefited not only the Cootamundra Toy Library but also Cootamundra Toyworld, a local business. The grant has meant that the Toy Library was able to further extend its already impressive range of quality toys, games, puzzles, musical instruments and sporting equipment for its young members.
