Southern Phone has donated a custom-made trailer to the Young Rotary Club in an effort to help develop their Driver Training Simulator program.
The goal of the Young Rotary’s Driver Training Simulator is to improve driver safety on rural roads.
Southern Phone Chairman, Bill Hilzinger, said Southern Phone wanted to build the trailer and be involved with this project because of its focus on community safety.
By enabling the program to become mobile, the simulator will now be available to more people in the local area than ever before. Students throughout the Cootamundra, Canowindra, Blayney, Cowra and Yass areas will now be able to utilize the simulator to practice safe driving skills.
