Connect to Wi-Fi

Turn on your device and wait 5 to 10 minutes. Then it’s time to connect your phone or computer to Wi-Fi.

Look at the back or under-side of your modem for the:

  • SSID (Service Set Identifier) – the network name you select on your phone or computer
  • Security key – the password you enter to connect.

If you’re unable to connect to Wi-Fi

If you’re unable to connect to the internet, try the steps below before contacting us.

Step 1 - Check if your device is locked

It may be that your device is locked by your previous service provider. Contact your previous internet provider to check if your device is locked.

Step 2 - Configure your modem settings manually

If you’re still having trouble connecting to the internet, you may need to configure your modem settings manually. Here is some advice you can use along with your modem’s setup guide.

How to access your modem’s settings

Connect your computer or phone to your device by Wi-Fi or using an ethernet cable. Open a browser window and enter the IP address for your device manufacturer:

If your manufacturer is not listed, or the IP addresses do not work, check the bottom of your device for a sticker with the IP address.

How to find your device username and password

You’ll find your device username and password on the sticker on the bottom of your device. If these do not work, try factory resetting your device to restore the default username and password. To do this, hold the ‘Reset’ button for about eight seconds or until the lights start flashing.

If a reset does not work, check your device’s manual or manufacturer website for more information and to get help.

If you need a public static IP

Contact us and we can provide you with a public static IP. There will be a monthly charge for having one.

Setting up your device as PPPoE

When asked to enter your PPPoE  enter your SPC account number (beginning with and including ACC)"
