Southern Phone aims to support and encourage study in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) and to promote students who aim to participate in the digital, scientific and technological transformation of Australia’s regional economies.
The Southern Phone STEM scholarship rewards academic excellence in secondary school studies in the study of science, technology, engineering or mathematics and provides assistance with costs related to tertiary studies.
Southern Phone will award nine $2,000 scholarships to graduating Year 12 students who meet the selection criteria. Payment will be made at the beginning of the first semester of their undergraduate degree.
Completing Year 12 HSC or VCE in 2018.
Have applied for an undergraduate degree in any of the disciplines of science, technology, engineering or mathematics as a first preference through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC) or the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)
Currently completing school at one of the following schools: Batemans Bay High School, St Peter’s Anglican College, Carroll College, Moruya High School, Narooma High School, Catherine McAuley College, Bendigo Senior Secondary College, Girton Grammar and Victory Christian College.
One scholarship is available for a student from each of the nine schools.
